This is a greenhouse in the Netherlands, I chose this image since they have embraced intensive greenhouse farming. The people from the website www.lexisnexis.com toured several greenhouses with crops among tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. This image from http://www.phaff.com and is showing part of the 2010 Precision Agriculture in the Netherlands. The event was there to show a variety of techniques the different companies and farmers had. Dairying is a popular form of agriculture in the Netherlands as cheese is very popular there. Lots of large farms have developed into mega farms holding around 410 dairy cows.
